Make your Own Perfume or Garden Soup

The sensory experience of making your own scent is an activity that all ages will enjoy. Start by introducing them to botany by using a variety of petals you can find in your garden

This activity also provides an opportunity for measuring quantities and introducing writing formulas for older children.

To encourage open ended play leave a selection of the following items on a tray and see what concoctions your children can come up with.

Flower petals
Water
A bowl to make garden soup
A selection of jars and old herb and spice jars
Scissors
