SCIENCE BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Our science parties are extremely popular and exciting for any 4 to 8 year old who loves science!
Parties include a whole hour of hands-on science fun for your Mini Professor and their friends - we host up to 20 children maximum.
All we require for parties is a good sized hall/venue, access to power and water and an hour to set up before the children arrive. We may run smaller sessions in your home or garden (weather dependant) but please note that parties, like our classes, require an element of grown-up support and engagement and at home parties are not often suitable for space.
Please note that parties book up well in advance to get in touch in plenty of time to secure your preferred date. We also run weekly classes on a Saturday so mainly offer Sunday dates during term time.
We have 3 themes to choose from:
CRAZY CHEMICALS: Our FAVOURITE party to run. Enjoy some crazy chemical reactions, make rainbows appear before your eyes and experiment with spinning smoke doughnuts - includes elephants toothpaste, colour changing potions, a rainbow themed take-home for all guests.
AWESOME AIR: Hold a tornado in your hands, ride a REAL hoverboard and make your own helicopter to take home! All whilst learning about the awesome air all around us!
DINOSAUR BOOM: Perfect for the budding paleontologist! Dig for fossils, create a bubbling volcanic eruption and make your own impression fossils to take home. A must for dino fans!
Booking information:
- Fee per party: up to 20 children £180.00 for 1 hour of hands on science.
- A deposit of £25 is required to confirm booking. Full Payment is requested 7 days before the party.
- Payment is currently requested by BACS or can be made by card payment link
- If the journey to the venue exceeds 30 minutes from postcode West Fife (under normal driving conditions), extra mileage may be charged.
- We request that at least 4 adults must remain with the children at all times to assist and support with experiments and manage any behaviour (full legal ratios can be found in our full t's&c's).
- Children should not be left in the sole care of our party leaders at any time.
- Although we are happy to wait until majority of children arrive before starting the activities, it may be necessary to charge an additional fee for waiting time in excess of 30 minutes.
- We will arrive at least 1 hour before the start of the party to set up the equipment.
- We ask for a list of confirmed first names of children attending so that name badges can be made up for each child in advance.
- We ask that you inform us of any allergies or additional relevant information for all children and their individual needs so we can do our very best to include them in all activities.
GROUP BOOKINGS:
We attend a number of groups to offer science sessions including (but not limited to):
- Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
- Rainbows, Brownies & Guides
- After School Clubs
- Schools
- Nurseries
Group sessions cost between £60 to £100 depending on number of children, style of session and number of sessions booked. We offer discounts for multiple or regular bookings.

We are able to support with a number of events and will consider most requests!
